Grant Hollister

Grant Hollister moved to South Florida in 2000 for graduate school and never left. He earned his MBA from the University of Miami and has spent two decades covering the region's business community through booms, busts, and everything in between — including reporting from ground zero during the 2008 real estate collapse. Grant is fascinated by the intersection of real estate, insurance, and politics that makes South Florida's economy unique. When he's not analyzing quarterly earnings or reviewing permit filings, he's sailing out of Boca Raton, playing golf (badly, he admits), or sampling new restaurants with his wife. He believes South Florida's economic story is just getting started.
